Reinvest mode is one of the most important assumptions in any projection. The same daily scenario can produce very different totals depending on whether net profit is compounded or kept separate.

Reinvest ON

Net profit is added back into the scenario balance. Future calculations are based on a larger balance, so the curve can accelerate.

Reinvest OFF

Net profit is not added back into the active scenario balance. It is counted separately as available or withdrawn value.

Neither mode is “better” by default. The correct comparison depends on risk tolerance, liquidity preference and personal planning assumptions.
